Literature Text

I can't breathe,
I'm cracking beneath the pressure.
With a heavy heart,
I begin to realize I've fallen out of love.

All the butterflies in my stomach,
All the sparks that once danced between us,
Every word left unsaid
Has become another regret in my head.

In the midst of our passion,
Our love led us astray.
Our hearts became ablaze,
And my heart burned to ashes.

I was your harlequin
But you were the true fool.
I left you alone in the stage,
You were left abandoned.

As all the words I could have said
Begin to fill up my head,
I learn that some things
Are better left unsaid.

No respect, there's nothing left
But regret.
And maybe that's what I get
For letting my heart burst.
Through our first kiss,
I was filled with bliss.
But now, the thought is tearing me up inside,
I can no longer hide.

I wonder if you know
That soon I'll go.
I'm sorry to leave you all alone,
But you're better off without me.

Yeah, you're better off without me
A little song/poem I made. I dont know if I'll actually make it a song, since I dont even know where to begin as far as that goes... If anyone wants to leave tips, constructive criticism, etc., please do!
